But since it was ending literally on Halloween-Halloween, where we'll see people dressed up at work, around town, going to parties, trick or treating tonight, I felt obliged to end with #costumes
If it can be "costume-ass costumes" like kind you would SEE at parties and around town that's great, but a bit limiting. So feel free to lean into whatever kind of fancy dress you want, and the hugest-budget #costuming a music video can offer!

In my quest to re-#JMusicFriday #JMusicFriday I started with a small list of themes after looking at the past ones, before I dropped last week's selection, and for today it was going to be #hiking / #trekking / #journeys . Hiking feels like a fall activity, but a bit too small on its own, so...
What I had NOT realized until looking at Yumi Matsutoya (Yumi Arai / Yuumin!) works last week is that she has an absolute banger and classic, which got a young witch named Kiki started on her journey to find a city to settle down in. A perfect fit!

so, this time, an album from an artist i used to really dislike, and i still seldom listen to, 2018年かたぎりの旅.
katagiri used to be too much hardcore for me to handle. And also, katagiri is a sampler. and not the pleasant to the ear kind. but as i listen to more and more music, i start to get it. it's not about the hardcore. it's about the knowledge. the more music you listen to, the more samples you recognize. and when my music player randomly puts a katagiri album, i always realize there is this one more music i recognise.
and this time, in #swinging_fox (the hashtag is part of the name of the song) i was surprised to hear lone digger by caravan palace. which is not even japanese music. i guess the french caravan palace just exported that well.
