This week's #JMusicFriday is about cold or winter and I for some reason am drawing a blank. I vaguely know of something I could post, but can't remember it to even look it up. So I'll cheat. The lyrics don't match the image at all, but I just wanted to share something. Besides, it's Hanatan.
That rain is absolutely cold anyway.

Warmest of #JMusicFriday to you all! At least, that is what I aspire to be. Busy coaxing the car along, while noting just how COLD IT IS 😖. Had the first real snow of any kind this week, and it’s 20 degrees out right now. Hate it!
Therefore, anything that evokes cold, freezing, icy, snowy hellscapes is fair game!
It is a bit of a strange #JMusicFriday this morning, as for many or most it's in the middle of days off and many live in terror of shopping madness.
Therefore we have decreed to be #lazy ! It is a day for warm and comfy. A day for staying in bed. Or setting up the kotatsu for the first time. A day for anti-shopping. A day for secondary food comas. A day for the most comfort with the least effort. Anything that fits any of the above is good. 😘
I shall start with simple purity of lazy.
I've been rather lax about doing #JMusicFriday but I just saw the theme for this one is #Lazy . I have such an incredibly perfect song for this that I simply can't resist.
Take me Home, Country Roads is not a japanese song so it's unsuitable for #JMusicFriday

Happy #JMusicFriday all, and welcome to nearly the weekend! I picked "wind/storms" six weeks ago, and this past week for me I've been experiencing a lot, so I'll try not to pick "earthquakes as a topic" (or tornados) and risk prophetic creation!

When I saw that @cthellis had chosen "acoustic" as this week's theme, my mind instantly went to this little known song.
Coming from the OP/ED single for the anime series Grenadier: The Smiling Senshi (when was the last time you heard someone mention THAT series?), this song sung by Mikuni Shimokawa is among my favorites.
While I, unfortunately, can't find any translations for the lyrics, I've always loved the passionate way Shimokawa sings the chorus of this song. It has the sound of longing and missing someone important (though again, I can't confirm that at the moment).
Anyway, give it a listen.
