Theme: Cold
Song: Snow Halation from Love Live

This week's #JMusicFriday is about cold or winter and I for some reason am drawing a blank. I vaguely know of something I could post, but can't remember it to even look it up. So I'll cheat. The lyrics don't match the image at all, but I just wanted to share something. Besides, it's Hanatan.
That rain is absolutely cold anyway.
#JMusicFriday is about posting songs not images, but this one is mandatory for today's theme so here it is :-)
Looks like @cthellis gave us a JMusic Friday theme of cold or winter.
And today Hana dropped a new track whose music video is all wintery?
Coincidence? Probably.
Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St6UOLqRAGY
Here's where you can listen to it: https://album.link/s/204nfufsRpeYrfkr0L0Z8B
Warmest of #JMusicFriday to you all! At least, that is what I aspire to be. Busy coaxing the car along, while noting just how COLD IT IS 😖. Had the first real snow of any kind this week, and it’s 20 degrees out right now. Hate it!
Therefore, anything that evokes cold, freezing, icy, snowy hellscapes is fair game!
It is a bit of a strange #JMusicFriday this morning, as for many or most it's in the middle of days off and many live in terror of shopping madness.
Therefore we have decreed to be #lazy ! It is a day for warm and comfy. A day for staying in bed. Or setting up the kotatsu for the first time. A day for anti-shopping. A day for secondary food comas. A day for the most comfort with the least effort. Anything that fits any of the above is good. 😘
I shall start with simple purity of lazy.
I've been rather lax about doing #JMusicFriday but I just saw the theme for this one is #Lazy . I have such an incredibly perfect song for this that I simply can't resist.
Take me Home, Country Roads is not a japanese song so it's unsuitable for #JMusicFriday
Except if Hatsune Miku sing it?
Hatsune Kaidan - カントリーロード (Take me Home, Country Roads)
Happy #JMusicFriday all, and welcome to nearly the weekend! I picked "wind/storms" six weeks ago, and this past week for me I've been experiencing a lot, so I'll try not to pick "earthquakes as a topic" (or tornados) and risk prophetic creation!
But #wind and #storms (or related) feels like it should provide plenty of options without risking anyone's homes. 😅
I hadn't even been thinking about what to start with, so in this case I'll just use what comes to mind first, and says "yes you can dip into hurricanes if you'd like" 😘

Also I didn't know Master Keaton had an eternal wind too! So here is that one.
But also "the proper one" from Gundam F91
Also some Shining in the Storm
Good #JMusicFriday morn, my friends. I am thrilled to announce, uh...
Hm.
I'm certain I had a topic!
Oh yes, let's go with #house or #home or anything that embodies the concept for y'all.
I have a busy morning and day and afternoon, so I'm'a just drop this for now, and revisit later.

#JMusicFriday is about wind and storm today.
Here is some wind. A storm will come later...
Run before the wind
Amusingly one of the first things that came to mind for #JMusicFriday #acoustic musings was Southern All Stars, and in my searching about I came across this, which is a delightful find.

(An acoustic ballad version of “Bojo” (慕情) by Southern All Stars. by Ryuichi.K)
Today @cthellis has a theme of "acoustic" for JMusic Friday.
How about Goose House's (mostly) acoustic version of 光るなら (Hikarunara), the theme song for Your Lie in April. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnXkhkEvNIM

Theme: Acoustic
When I saw that @cthellis had chosen "acoustic" as this week's theme, my mind instantly went to this little known song.
Coming from the OP/ED single for the anime series Grenadier: The Smiling Senshi (when was the last time you heard someone mention THAT series?), this song sung by Mikuni Shimokawa is among my favorites.
While I, unfortunately, can't find any translations for the lyrics, I've always loved the passionate way Shimokawa sings the chorus of this song. It has the sound of longing and missing someone important (though again, I can't confirm that at the moment).
Anyway, give it a listen.
Good morning, all, and welcome to the weekend... nearly! It is a sunnier #JMusicFriday morning than usual, because they have stolen the sunlight from our evening commutes!!
A shame, but we should still celebrate. So today, as part of partying climbdowns and simply enjoying the morning sun, let us bring #acoustic to bear
It is Mellow Yellow for me, but if you have your druthers, this whole playlist is well worth the while. Even if you are not in a position to go hiking with it!
Looks like everyone is way busier than I am, probably doing actual Halloween stuff. 😝
At any rate, would be a shame to this group, who I could probably drop any video, but ESPECIALLY leaving off one called "Bloody Dress"
This #JMusicFriday we shall finish off "monthly thematic" and indeed while considering them, I was questioning the order. But since it was ending literally on Halloween-Halloween, where we'll see people dressed up at work, around town, going to parties, trick or treating tonight, I felt obliged to end with #costumes
If it can be "costume-ass costumes" like kind you would SEE at parties and around town that's great, but a bit limiting. So feel free to lean into whatever kind of fancy dress you want, and the hugest-budget #costuming a music video can offer!
To start, I am going to lean on BRADIO's "Hotel Alien" which was used as the OP for Peeping Life, for reasons that will quickly become obvious

...and also their music video
For #JMusicFriday @cthellis gives us a theme of Spooks, Monsters, and Yokai.
Since any day is Himari day, next up is: Himari while still with NecronomIdol.
CW: Gore, Violence
For JMusic Friday, @cthellis gives us a theme of Spooks, Monsters, and Yokai.
For #JMusicFriday, @cthellis gives us a theme of Spooks, Monsters, and Yokai.
Since it is also Pikarin Friday, let's start with my fav. song by her.

For JMusic Friday, @cthellis gives us a theme of Spooks, Monsters, and Yokai.
So, I have two of them.

Because the cutest yokai monster of them all is, of course, AiNA THE END, here is On the Way for #JMusicFriday
アイナ・ジ・エンド / 革命道中 - On The Way [Official Music Video](TVアニメ『ダンダダン』第2期オープニングテーマ)
Note: I understand by reading the (translated) lyrics that AiNA is singing here like she is, herself, a yokai monster.
But I might be completely wrong.
The song still great no matter what!!
Good morning, good morning, good morning, my fellow weebonauts! What a lovely #JMusicFriday it is, too!
And as we continue to travel to the end of October, the #spooks have come out to play. I was considering #yokai or #mononoke specifically because--you know--but any ghost, goblin, or ghoulie will work.
And how best to start this engine rolling than a rousing bit of Babymetal?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxRldWoKlnQ
One might interpret it as "a song about living amongst ghosts and not being afraid of them, being mischievous and stuff"
Yokai are mentioned in there SOMEwhere! 😝
wrong!
it's the candy butler offering you some #candy to the sound of some sweet, sweet vocaloid electro swing!
The obvious one was never posted... :-)

Another #JMusicFriday #candy entry, to LOL for all the reasons
Song "Candies" (1973) from the album "Anata ni Muchū: Uchiki na Candies" by the group Candies 😝

I was looking for a video just of the song, but sadly could not find. Here is the whole album. 50+ y.o. jpop engage!
It looks like candy is a popular theme in Japanese music!
