French people:

oh damn, there are too many standards for open data that are not ODbL what do we do? Let's write a new licence that will be only in french and will preven foreign actors (except the big ones like google and apple) from accessing data due to a loophole and also OSM won't be able to use it because it's incompatible with ODbL.

This should make it usable by OSM and prevent big tech from competing with us using our own data right?

I am trying very hard not to xkcd 927 right now. Even if the actual situation is even worse
