this happened to me thrice in two days about 6 years ago and made me a linux user.
never looked back on that decision.
even dealing with wine shinenigans at the time turned out easier than getting windows not to kill itself lmao.

      that happens.
      my sibling had broken acpi drivers leading to their computer crashing and rebeoting every time you tried to put it to sleep or to power it down.
      after a long while without a clean boot (about a year and half) windows just gave up, had a weird screen with a weird sound, and we had to reinstall it
      that's just the windows experience
