Usually it means "game gam game that i spent some time polishing", which does sound appealing if you're looking for something rather quick to play.
most of the time i expect these to be free, though i'd be willing to pay 1 or 2 bucks if the gameplay or artstyle looks extra interesting.

    I don't have a game in particular in mind.

    I work as a game reviewer for an app store an I see that kind of comment in game description from time to time and it puzzle me every time....

    For me it make the game looks botched and unfinished. :)

      in that case yeah. saying that anywhere but on itch.io or similar is a real deterrent
