I feel like there is a strong correlation between how good my teachers are and their desktop environment
ranging from:
- really bad: windows
- uuuh: cinnamon/lxde (or mint)
- good enough: macos
- galaxy brain in papers but unable to get anything across, recompiles LeTeX live during class to fix a typo: heavily cutomized Tiling window manager
- pretty smart and interesting but kinda bad at teaching and explaining: KDE
- extremely interesting with great explanations and lively class: gnome
