    @Li@tech.lgbt this isn't even about good guys or bad guys, as it happens to both sides, and anywhere in between.
    They're using totally normalized mysoginy from 30 years ago to make characters more relatable and it just ticks me off.
    When you know the context in which it was released it makes some sense but even still uuuuh...
    i can't help but look at it through the prism of (my) today's somewhat progressive values

        @Li@tech.lgbt no, it's more of a dissonance between the way actions are written/depicted to make you empathise with the characters, and yet, it ends up having the opposite effect because i am reading with my own set of experiences.
