like shamefully, i was only 26 when i realized that the news is biased, and it was because of that BBC News article about trans people where they only interviewed TERFs

and the news couldnt stop reporting about how much of a 'violent mob' it was, and how the poor transphobic speaker got assaulted; by uh *checks notes* ah well you see, her outfit messed up a bit because someone threw soup at her.. (honestly, kinda based)
which they also kept trying to make into a bigger deal than it was, insisting it was somehow an acid attack or some shit, and being pedantic about ph levels,
because clearly this food grade shit that people spill on themselves all the time with 0 issue is actually somehow super harmful and gonna cause lasting damage forever or some shit idfk.

@heredos oops... maybe I shalln't complain as much. I was under the impression that people down on the continent had housing that is better adapted to warmer weather, even though the heat is getting quite extreme.
up here the old housing is all built to be extremely insulated from cold and any ventilation, if any, is an afterthought installed decades later. turns out opening the windows doesn't do much when the outdoor temperature is higher than the indoor one.
