they don't actually care about family.
they care about what they percieve "normal" for a family. Except this "normality" is not natural, it is enforced by patriarchy, and they will always refuse to admit it, because it is too comfortable for them.
and if you disagree with their ideal family, it's not that you are tring to get in a more comfortable, less artificial situation for yourself, it's just that your are an anti-family person that just want to destroy everyting society has built. And the decline of the birthrate in the west is all your doing.
btw, i love destroying patriarchaic societies, even though i really care about the member of my family that respect me for what i am. weird huh?
