There is something I don't understand about messenger apps.
I see a lot of post like "Don't use FB Messenger, or What's app or whatever" Instead use this or that.
But if I stop using all those shit I should not use and instead use the right one. How the fuck do I message my mom? How the fuck do I tell my players what time is the game tonight?
@Kingu That's the problem with all these platforms. They're based on full user lock-in, and once critical mass is reached, you're excluded if you don't want to feed the dragon.
i do this, but i wouldn't recommend it to anyone that's not using a billion messaging apps with different accounts at the same time, it's a lot more pain than it's worth

a lot of slop github repos now don't ship with an AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md/.claude directory/files anymore. they hide their slop agent instructions in CONTRIBUTING.md and the docs/ folder.
